Cloud Computing
Cloud or Elastic computing is a model for enabling convenient, on demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.
Elastic computing customers do not own the physical IT infrastructure, instead they rent usage from a third-party provider, by doing so they avoid the capital expenditure and depreciation. Consuming resources as a service they ony pay for what they use.
SDT's cloud platform delivers server capacity, on demand, for web sites and almost any x86 application. Also known as Infrastructure as a Service, or IaaS.
We deploy a utility computing model (analogous to traditional utility services such as electricity, gas, water etc). By sharing computing power among a number of clients Hosts Unlimited are able to offer cost-effective rates to all. Our Elastic Computing Platform provides immediate access to the compute capacity when needed.
